That's cause it's your fault. Anet CAN'T give you your items back in any situation so I don't know why you were even hoping for it to happen, and there's no reason for them to disclose whether they banned the guy or not because it's between them and Anet. Think of it as one of many of life's lessons.

As for the OP no you won't be banned.

I was in AB and I had something in the oven for quite a while. Got done 6 or 7 minutes into a match, so I went and grabbed my plate - I don't even think I was gone more than 45 seconds. I came back to 2 "June The Reaper has been declared a leecher" (I was on my warrior) and my guildies were promptly telling another guy off.

So some guy can leech a whole match and NOT get reported enough to get banned, and I'm gone 40 seconds and I've got 3 people on my butt for it? Way to go...
